JellyBean Campfire!

A jellybean at Timber Tops is a special kind of friend, and tonight is the jellybean campfire!

In the first half of the summer, all of our new campers get a big sister, and all of our returning campers are assigned a little sister! A “jellybean” in the second half of camp, is kind of like a big/little sister, except your jellybean can come in any shape and size. Older, younger, bigger, smaller, you can be anyone’s special friend, her jellybean.

In the first three days of the second session, jellybeans have been leaving each other special gifts and notes, friendship bracelets and crafts. Tonight, at the jellybean campfire, jellybeans find each other, exchange jellybeans, and vow to be each others’ special camp friends, this summer and always.

What a great night it will be!

(For all of our alumni out there, a “jellybean” is the new “peanut!”)
